Preparations and Precautions before Installation:
Before you start installing the jailbreak on your iPhone, you should take into consideration some of the following things:
The installation process for new iOS versions is getting simpler year by year, but it’s still worth recommending. Make a full backup of your device before the update to ensure that, in the slightest chance of something going wrong, all your information be safe and sound.
To back up via iCloud by the iPad / iPhone / iPod touch itself, go to Settings -> iCloud -> Backup, enable the “iCloud Backup” option and tap the “Backup Now” button.
If you prefer to back up your own computer instead of saving everything in the cloud, connect your gadget to your Mac / PC via the device’s USB cable and open iTunes. In it, click the device icon, choose the “Summary” option and click “Backup Now”. Deactivate as the “Find My iPhone” function, as well as the “Passcode”, and activate the flight mode on your iPhone to avoid problems during the jailbreak process.
How to Install?
Step # 1:
Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer using the Lightning cable.
Step # 2:
Create a backup of your data via iTunes or iCloud so you can access your data in the event of an error.
Step # 3:
Disable your Code / TouchID on your device under Settings -> Touch ID & Code.
Step # 4:
Deactivate My iPhone search on your device in the settings. You can find the point in Settings -> iCloud -> Search my iPhone.
Step # 5:
Opens / Installs Cydia Impactor on your device.
Step # 6:
Drag the Yalu IPA file into the Cydia Impactor program.
Step # 7:
Now you are asked by Cydia Impactor for your Apple ID and Apple ID password. Please enter them.
If you have a registered Apple Developer Account, use this login information because the app is signed longer.
Step # 8:
Wait until Cydia Impactor has installed the Jailbreak app on your device.
Step # 9:
When the process is complete, disconnect your computer from your device and go to Preferences -> General -> Profiles, and then type Trust, and then click Trust again on the certificate that is used to install the Jailbreak app.
Note: If you have a registered Apple Developer Account, you can skip this step.
Step # 10:
Now open the Jailbreak app “mac_portal” on your device on the Home screen and wait for 10 to 15 seconds until the app has done everything. Now you have Cydia on your home screen.
The jailbreak is just a semi-untethered jailbreak. This means that you must reactivate the jailbreak after every restart of your device. You can do this by simply running the 10th step again.
If you have used your normal AppleID and you do not have a registered Apple Developer Account, you have to repeat the process every 7 days since the certificate is only valid for as long as it is valid. Just start the process from step 5 which have been mentioned above.
If you have a new jailbreak, you will not lose any data, tweaks, settings, or anything else. If you have a registered Apple Developer account, the certificate will last for up to one year.
